Biografia

My name is Ian, I’m 25 years old, a trans man and a queer artist.
My painting is born from the body and returns to the body: it is exploration, it is desire, it is truth.
Each brushstroke is an act of liberation, a gesture that reveals hidden fragments of ourselves—feelings we didn’t know we had, identities that emerge in the contact between color and skin.
Art is my refuge and my provocation: a raw language that transforms the invisible into the visible, that gives shape to joy, vulnerability, and the power of emotion.
I paint to discover and to exist.

Painting was my escape from day one.
There was a time I couldn’t leave my room. Even the mirror refused to show me myself.
But painting did. It saw me before I knew I needed to be seen.
It gave me silence when my mind was spinning, a blank space I didn’t think could exist.
And now I’m here.
