The series continues my exploration of Scritte dell’acqua, a technique born from dialogue with living water. Each work is created directly on the surface of the Po River, allowing the flow, local flora and fauna, as well as human presence and suspended matter to trace their own gestures. The pigments of carbon-based ink float, merge, and disperse, recording the river’s invisible language — its rhythms, sediments, its breath.

The resulting surfaces are not representations but traces of encounters: writings made with the river, rather than about it.
