POWER PLANT is a photographic work created using the technique of multiple exposure and is part of my ongoing series ENERGY.

The image depicts a lignite-fired power plant located in the region where I live . . .
an area still marked by these industrial structures, many of which are scheduled to be shut down in the coming years.

Rather than approaching the subject in a purely documentary way, my intention was to capture a fragment of time.

In Germany, the discussion around climate change and the transition to renewable energy plays a central role in public and personal discourse.
This work reflects my own engagement with these themes . . .
not as a statement of accusation, but as a quiet observation of transformation, responsibility, and impermanence.

The photograph stands between documentation and abstraction, preserving the presence of the power plant while allowing it to shift into a more open, contemplative image.
