Laura Bautista is a London-based artist and cultural manager whose practice bridges classical oil painting and contemporary printmaking. Trained in oil painting from a young age in Madrid and later at Enver Gürsev’s studio and Art Academy London, she combines rigorous oil painting Old Master technique with the bold immediacy of relief linocut. Motherhood and migration deeply inform her work, shaping themes of transformation, identity, and resilience.
Alongside her studio practice, Laura brings over 15 years of experience in international cultural management, leading educational and artistic programmes across the UK and Spain. She has managed large-scale public cultural and educational tenders, coordinated cultural festivals and art exhibitions, and driven strategic growth within arts institutions, uniting creative vision with operational excellence.
