Lelia Matis (Legal name: Marina Rolko) is a visual artist working with analog and digital photography since 2008. Her work explores human emotion, identity, and the subtle psychological landscapes that shape our inner world.
For Lelia, photography is an intimate dialogue between the photographer and the subject. She views the photographic process as a form of co-creation, where vulnerability and trust allow deeper layers of human experience to emerge.

She turning toward conceptual photography, developing projects that explore themes such as childhood memory, emotional survival, and the search for personal authenticity. Her work reflects on how people transform through difficult experiences and how memory and identity evolve over time.

Now she has experimenting with mixed-media elements as metaphors for memory, fragility, and emotional transformation.

Alongside her artistic practice, she has led workshops and educational sessions, sharing her approach to emotional depth in portrait and family photography.
