Biografia
Michal Berman is a contemporary artist and art therapist whose work centers on the evocative power of the human form. She integrates her deep knowledge of classical technique with contemporary expression.
Her exploration of the female figure is informed by a rigorous academic background, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from SUNY at Purchase College, followed by a Master’s in Art Therapy. This unique intersection of disciplines allows her to approach the body not merely as a physical subject, but as a vessel for complex psychological narratives.
Berman’s artistic practice is characterized by an understanding of anatomy and figure drawing, which she uses to investigate the nuances of the female experience. Her work often serves as a bridge for community connection, specifically through her leadership in workshops that celebrate the diversity and resilience of women.
Her career highlights include:
“Women’s World Art Exhibition”: A featured group show at the Resident Art Gallery focused on global female perspectives.
Solo and Group Exhibitions: Extensive showcases throughout Tel Aviv, Rome, Florence, New York, London, and Scotland.
Through her studio and her personal canvas, Berman remains dedicated to the human form as a primary site of artistic- therapeutic discovery, and storytelling.
