Descrizione: Escalation explores a state of accelerating energy. Intense colour contrasts, layered gestures and diagonal movements create a sense of expansion and release. The painting develops through successive accumulations of marks that appear to collide, overlap and push beyond their own boundaries. Rather than representing a specific event, the work investigates the moment when pressure becomes movement and containment gives way to transformation.
