Biografia
I’m an Iranian/Australian photographer based in Paris, working across art and documentary photography. My visual language is deeply influenced by my childhood in Iran, where architecture, culture, and history were always present in daily life. These early impressions continue to guide the way I see the world and influence how I create images that are both atmospheric and emotionally resonant.
For more than ten years, I worked in the field of marketing in Australia. In 2017 and 2019, I attended The Photography Master Retreat in France, which opened up a new horizon in my photographic life. In July 2022, I decided to move to France to pursue my photography education in Paris. During my time at Spéos International Photography School, I focused on shaping my visual identity as a photographer while also learning the technical aspects of the profession.
Since 2017, I have developed several photography series, the first of which is Steps of the Passage, in which I use staircases as metaphors for life, a passage through which we experience different emotions, feelings, and incidents. This project has been shown in a solo exhibition in Paris at gallery Vertus in May 2026. I continued to develop personal projects that explore memory, dreams, and place. During my studies at Spéos, I created my second long project, Flourishing Movement, an art documentary series about the Art Nouveau buildings of Paris, reflecting my interest in architectural heritage and the emotional resonance of place.
Since then I worked on different photography stories such as Just like a Midsummer dream and Street photography of Paris.
I hold a European Master of Photography and an RNCP Level 6 qualification in Entrepreneurial Photography from Spéos International Photography School in Paris.
