The artist, of Ukrainian origin, grounds her practice in the visual and symbolic richness of her heritage. At the center of her work is Petrykivka painting, a traditional Ukrainian decorative style known for its vivid floral motifs, expressive brushwork, and layered symbolism. Rather than treating this tradition as something fixed in the past, she reimagines it as a living, evolving language. Her artistic practice becomes a dialogue between cultural memory and contemporary expression, balancing reverence for what came before with the creative urgency of the present.
Her exploration unfolds through two interconnected bodies of work. One remains closer to traditional Petrykivka, echoing its familiar rhythms while subtly transforming its forms. The other pushes the visual language further, reshaping motifs and meanings to reflect modern sensibilities.
She has exhibited her work in several art spaces across Spain, including a solo exhibition at Imaguru in Madrid (2026), and group exhibitions at Casa del Arte in Palma de Mallorca (2025) and Espacio Oculto in Madrid (2024).
