Biografia
Carla Tella (Carla Franchignoni) is a visual artist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, currently completing her studies at UNA – Universidad Nacional de Arte. Her work is built through achromatic compositions and ink-based series that portray women's coexistence with nature, using fine-liners, markers, and pens to depict alternate realities rendered with an everyday gaze. Repetition and serial work are central to her practice, used to express states of overwhelm and powerlessness through silences, lost gazes, and a photographic sense of nostalgia. Since 2016 she has exhibited in group and solo shows across Buenos Aires, including Espacio Korova, Consejos de Ciencias Económicas de Lomas de Zamora, and Facultad de Periodismo de La Plata.
