Descrizione:  Fragmented formations that resemble landscapes, yet also look like beetles broken down into their individual parts. We are pushing nature further and further out of our lives and to the very margins of its own existence. Our cities are growing ceaselessly, and we are destroying and sealing off more and more natural areas until soon there will be nothing left. We are destroying the habitats of plants and animals. What remains are disconnected patches of land between which hardly any interaction can take place. The structures are reminiscent of aerial photographs of such areas and, at the same time, of giant beetles. Let us remember what we are in the process of losing. The materials used come from discarded, cut-up garments that once protected their wearers from the cold. Now they envelop the giant beetles – as a protective shell, as fragile skin, as if we had at least granted them this last shred of protection.
