Visiting the Chicago Botanical Gardens and others like it inspires my Botanical collection, including “Bloom,” which closely examines a flower’s intricate details. Each layer expresses nature’s elegance with soft hues and undulating petals.

My visits to the gardens allow me to observe countless varieties of plants and flowers, each unique yet sharing an underlying natural grace. When I create my art, I try to capture not only the physical appearance but also the quiet energy that radiates from these living forms.

“Bloom” was captured to bring the viewer into the intimate details of this flower. The layering of delicate shades and contours works to immerse the viewer in a peaceful, natural environment. Ultimately, I hope that each person who experiences “Bloom” to senses the restorative power of nature and carries that serenity into their own lives.
