Sugantha Priya C. is a Chennai-based visual artist and art educator working primarily in acrylic on canvas. Her practice moves fluidly between gestural abstraction and the rhythmic discipline of Bharatanatyam, translating movement and elemental force into layered, textured surfaces. Her Nature series explores botanical stillness and organic growth, tracing how structure and spontaneity coexist within living systems — flowers, trees, and fields rendered through drip and pour technique alongside expressive brushwork. She holds an M.V.A. in Painting from Jain University, Bangalore, and a B.F.A. from the Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai. Her work has been exhibited internationally across India and the United Kingdom, including two exhibitions in London, and she continues to submit to international open calls and exhibitions. Alongside her studio practice, she founded Suganthe Sky Art Academy, teaching art to students across age groups internationally.
