Descrizione: The collage challenges historical notions of femininity that remain influential to this day. Taking a classical portrait of a woman as its starting point, attributes such as sensitivity, delicacy, and fragility are reinterpreted: not as signs of weakness, but as expressions of strength, resilience, and the potential for transformation. The central statement, “She was fragile—like a bomb, not like a flower,” shifts the perspective on attributes that have been interpreted as deficiencies for centuries. Here, pink does not appear as a decorative or passive color, but as an ambivalent symbol of self-empowerment. The work advocates for a shift in perspective: A woman does not have to be masculine to be strong.
