Bilge Ugursu is a Berlin-based abstract figurative artist whose work explores the psychology of human emotion through symbolic narratives and expressive color. Originally trained as a neuroscientist, she holds a PhD in Neuroscience, and her scientific understanding of the brain continues to shape her artistic practice. Rather than depicting external reality, Ugursu investigates the invisible landscapes of identity, and emotional transformation.

Working intuitively between abstraction and figuration, she creates layered compositions using mixed media. Since 2018, Ugursu has exhibited internationally across Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey through numerous solo and group exhibitions. Through every painting, she seeks to transform complex emotional experiences into visual language, creating spaces where vulnerability becomes connection.
