Eselya Karagöz was born in Istanbul in 2003. Her interest in art and design began at an early age. She graduated from the Graphic Arts Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University. Throughout her education, she focused on visual communication, typography, and conceptual thinking, producing work in illustration, artistic drawing, and experimental practices.

During her university studies, she spent six months in Germany at Hochschule Bielefeld, where she studied Digital Media and Experimental Practices. This experience allowed her to develop an interdisciplinary approach, with a focus on digital storytelling and experimental methods, while expanding her practice through different cultural perspectives.

During her academic years, she participated in two exhibitions with projects combining both digital and traditional techniques. She worked extensively with pencil, ink, watercolor, and oil painting, focusing on color, texture, and composition, and remained active in illustration based production.
