Biografia

Giorgi Kiknadze (b. 1992, Tbilisi, Georgia) is a self-taught documentary photographer whose work delves into political, social, and subcultural issues with deep intellectual curiosity and immersive storytelling. His long-term documentary projects often span years, allowing him to observe and document change from within. Through his lens, Kiknadze seeks to amplify the voices of marginalized communities and underrepresented cultures, often working on the front lines of events to create work that is both intimate and politically charged. His most recent project, Isuntqe (Breath), focuses on Georgia’s underground music scene, preserving a vital yet overlooked subculture through handmade photographic books.
