Kore Heerema (born 1990) discovered his passion for photography at a young age. He began by taking portraits of friends and family and photographing the natural landscapes he encountered during holidays. As his interest grew, photography became a more serious pursuit, leading to frequent collaborations with musicians, making portraits, and interviews with amerging artists. During this period, he studied at the Fotovakschool (photography school) and later at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (art academy) in Amsterdam. Where his focus broadened to new facets of photography, his artistic exploration expanded to street photography, still life, and art photography. Over time, his eye for detail and fascination with form, color, and abstraction shaped the unique visual language that characterizes his work today. His photographs often transcend literal representation and transform everyday scenes into captivating abstract compositions.
