The artist was born on 28.03.1961 and graduated from the Art and Graphic Faculty of Kostroma University in Russia, Department of Painting in 1986. The artist has been working on the embroidered painting since 1988.
Twice became a winner of the All-Russian exhibition “Embroidered Painting”. The collection of works was purchased by the Museum of the Kirov Region and the Foundation of the House of Folk Art in Moscow. The artist was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland in 1999. For the artist, embroidery is a more complete transfer of my painterly feeling in creating an image on canvas. The art critic DNT Moscow Ivanova Y. B. called the technique of my embroidery an artistic stroke. All the artworks are made according to picturesque sketches.
