Luigi Galasso (born in Naples, Italy) is a photographer based in Turin. He holds a Master’s degree from NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan and a Bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. His work has been exhibited in London, Miami, Naples and Milan.

Galasso’s practice centres on landscape photography as a space of human presence and cultural investigation. His projects explore how individuals experience the surrounding marked by history symbolism and social tension focussing on collective gestures and everyday rituals. Working between Italy and the UK where he previously maintained a studio in London he develops long-term research-driven investigations into the relationship between people and their environment.

Through a documentary approach his images examine the balance between landscape and identity observing how space becomes a reflection of shared memory resilience and belonging.
