Biografia
Shifting from journalism to an in-depth exploration of contemporary jewellery led May to focus on using her research, storytelling and communication skills to explore the narrative of contemporary jewellery expressed through unconventional materials and techniques. Over the years May has developed a personal language in her jewellery pieces. She adds paint and drawings to organic forms, which she uses as canvases, transcending formats and redefining them. Her creations are imbued with meanings that come to life through the artist’s hands in pieces that seek intimate communication with their recipient. Her pieces are infused of poetry, memory, and a sublimation of life through color and form.
Her work has been recognized with a few international awards:
New York Sculpture to Wear Award, 2022

Vogue Award on Creativity, Milano Fashion Week 2018
