I work primarily with painting and mixed media, focusing on the human figure as an unstable presence. My research moves around tension between what remains and what disappears, between identity and its erosion.
For Portraits V in Turin, I present three portraits that approach the face not as likeness but as a shifting field. Each figure holds a subtle imbalance: a quiet friction between vulnerability and resistance. Although tension runs through the works, they retain a certain immediacy and openness. What interests me is the moment in which a presence persists, even as it seems on the verge of dissolving.
