Biografia
Edwin Lucchesi is a multimedia audiovisual artist based in Prato, Italy, specializing in immersive digital visual art and interactive sound-visual performances. With a BA in Classical Guitar and MA in Music and New Technologies, he pioneers works fusing extended guitar techniques, live electronics, and generative visuals, exemplified by its Kathodic Karma.
He has performed at contemporary art festivals, premiered Giacinto Scelsi’s Ko-Tha during the first Tuscany screening of the documentary “Le premier mouvement de l’immobile” at Luigi Pecci Center (2019), scored David Lynch soundtracks at Lucca Film Festival (2014), collaborated with dance companies and filmmakers, and performed in New York with NYU Contemporary Music Ensemble under Esther Lamnek.
Currently focused on solo didactic research in audiovisual technologies.
