Manjuri Biswas is a London-based visual artist and the founder of Omaik Studio. Her practice combines fine-line illustration and mixed media to explore memory, identity, belonging, womanhood and emotional transformation. Influenced by the stories, mythology, landscapes and everyday observations she grew up around in India, Manjuri creates densely detailed, surreal compositions in which human and natural forms often merge. Her slow, intuitive process allows each artwork to develop as a layered inner landscape, holding multiple narratives within a single image.

Before becoming a full-time artist, she worked for over ten years across branding, design and marketing in India and the UK. This background in visual communication continues to inform the storytelling and careful composition within her work. Her artwork has been selected by London galleries and featured in Artist Talk Magazine and Art to Hearts Project Magazine.
