Biografia
I was born in 1967 in the Soviet Union. Trained as an engineer at Riga Technical University, I worked in the construction field before founding my own advertising agency after the collapse of the Soviet system.
Following a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, I began painting on medical advice to develop fine motor skills. Over time, painting became essential to me — a means of expression and inner healing.
Since 2020, I have been living in Houssay, France, where I paint daily, inspired by the surrounding landscape. I work mainly with acrylics, in a style between expressionism and impressionism, characterized by a distinctive personal gesture I call “Parkinsonism.”
I have participated in 24 exhibitions in France, Ukraine, Italy, and England, including four solo shows. I am a member of Horizonworldart (Paris) and the Amboise Valley Artists Association.
Through my art, I seek to convey a simple yet profound message: to live in harmony with oneself, with others, and with nature.
My work does not strive for technical perfection — not by choice, but because my gesture is shaped by the realities of my condition; it is within this sincerity that light and truth emerges
