Leonardo Tonini (b. 1990) is a photographer based in Massa, Italy, currently studying photography at Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence. After studying cinema and communication at the University of Pisa, he developed experience working with the public in commercial contexts and seasonal jobs.
His photographic research focuses on identity, memory, and interpersonal relationships, with a particular interest in portraiture. His work explores photography as a space of emotional negotiation, where images become tools to question presence, communication and perception.
