I primi venticinque anni del terzo millennio hanno lasciato un’impronta profonda e complessa nella storia dell’umanità. ULTRA PHOTO ART PRIZE invita fotografi professionisti e appassionati a interpretare, attraverso il potere dell’immagine, un venticinquennio di svolte, fratture e rinascite.
Guerre che hanno ridisegnato confini e coscienze. Una pandemia globale capace di fermare il mondo e ridisegnare relazioni, spazi, respiri. La lunga battaglia per la parità di genere, che continua a erodere barriere invisibili. L’avanzata di nuove tecnologie che promettono connessioni, libertà, ma anche nuove forme di controllo. La crisi della globalizzazione, tra interdipendenze fragili e identità che si rinchiudono. La percezione crescente di scenari distopici, che si mescola alla fiducia nella forza creativa dell’umanità. E la nascita di una nuova protagonista: l’intelligenza artificiale, compagna e sfida di un’epoca in trasformazione.
Il tema di questa edizione, “25 – Il volto del nuovo millennio”, invita a esplorare questo tempo sospeso tra ferite e possibilità, tra fragilità e accelerazione. Le fotografie potranno indagare la realtà o reinventarla, raccontare la cronaca o evocare visioni simboliche: ciò che conta è la capacità di trasformare un frammento di luce in memoria collettiva.
Partecipare significa contribuire a una narrazione visiva che non appartiene solo al singolo, ma a tutti noi. Un archivio emotivo per capire chi siamo diventati e verso quale futuro stiamo procedendo.

COSA CERCHIAMO
Cerchiamo fotografi under 40 pronti a mettersi in gioco con opere e progetti che parlano il linguaggio dell’ultra-contemporaneo.
LA LOCATION
Palazzo Provana di Collegno, uno degli edifici storici più affascinanti di Torino, sarà lo scenario di “ULTRA”: un contrasto significativo tra la classicità architettonica e le pratiche artistiche più audaci del presente. Lo spazio espositivo di via Santa Teresa 20, situato nel cuore della città, ospiterà le opere selezionate.
SELEZIONE
La selezione sarà curata da una commissione composta da professionisti del settore. I criteri principali saranno:
- Originalità e forza del progetto
- Coerenza con il concept ULTRA
- Qualità estetica e potenziale evolutivo
- Capacità di dialogare con lo spazio e la città
PREMIO
Il primo premio sarà assegnato all’artista che avrà interpretato al meglio il tema di questa edizione. Il premio consiste in una mostra personale a Torino, offrendo l’opportunità di esporre in uno spazio dedicato e ricevere visibilità e supporto curatoriale.

The first twenty-five years of the third millennium have left a profound and complex mark on the history of humanity. The ULTRA PHOTO ART PRIZE invites both professional and amateur photographers to interpret, through the power of imagery, a quarter-century of turning points, fractures, and rebirths.
Wars that have reshaped borders and consciences. A global pandemic capable of stopping the world and redefining relationships, spaces, and breaths. The long struggle for gender equality, which continues to erode invisible barriers. The rise of new technologies promising connection and freedom, yet also new forms of control. The crisis of globalization, caught between fragile interdependencies and retreating identities. The growing perception of dystopian scenarios, intertwined with trust in humanity’s creative strength. And the emergence of a new protagonist: artificial intelligence—both companion and challenge in an era of transformation.
The theme of this edition, “25 – The Face of the New Millennium,” invites participants to explore a time suspended between wounds and possibilities, between fragility and acceleration. Photographs may examine reality or reinvent it, recount current events or evoke symbolic visions: what matters is the ability to transform a fragment of light into collective memory.
To participate means contributing to a visual narrative that belongs not only to the individual, but to all of us. An emotional archive to understand who we have become and what future we are moving toward.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for photographers under 40 ready to take on the challenge with works and projects that speak the language of the ultra-contemporary.
THE LOCATION
Palazzo Provana di Collegno, one of the most fascinating historic buildings in Turin, will be the stage for “ULTRA”: a striking contrast between classical architecture and the most daring artistic practices of the present.
The exhibition space, located in via Santa Teresa 20, in the heart of the city, will host the selected works.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The selection will be made by a committee of professionals from the art world. Main criteria include:
- Originality and strength of the project
- Consistency with the ULTRA concept
- Aesthetic quality and potential for development
- Ability to interact with the space and the urban context
