The idea for the painting was sketched directly after spending an hour floating in a sensory deprivation tank, emptying the mind and meditating on the potential for all life and the ability to produce energy from within our bodies and project it outwards.
An important message in the Tao Te Ching reads:
“If you look to others for light, you will never truly be radiant. Find the light within.”
