Maya Danziger is a contemporary textile artist. She was born in Kibbutz Barkai and raised in
Netanya, Israel, as the youngest daughter of Holocaust survivors.
In 1990, she graduated with distinction in Fashion Design from Shenkar College of Engineering,
Design and Art (B.F.D.). For over three decades, she worked as a fashion and textile designer,
serving as a lead designer and heading design teams in leading companies in Israel.
Since 2019, she has focused on contemporary textile art. Her works are created through hand
stitching, natural fabrics, recycled materials, and ready-made elements, moving along the
boundaries between drawing, collage, and textile object.
Her works have been exhibited in exhibitions and biennials in Israel, France, Slovenia, the United
Kingdom, and the United States, and have been published in international art magazines, including
Fiber Art Now.
