Descrizione: “Bull’s eye panic” refers to Goya’s La Tauromaquia series as a criticism on spanish bullfights. The drawing questions the viewpoint of this spectacle. What happens if we look at the scenery – and bullfights in general – through the eyes of a bull, in stead of through the eyes of us as human beings? Eyes, and the proposal of there viewpoint, are often related to what wants to be communicated. Whether it is about history, a personal experience or the interpretation of an artwork. Eyes often narrow a story by the framework which is given by the specific framework. And like in a bullfight, the intention never is that the bull will win the game, unless something unforeseen is happening.
