Descrizione: We reworked these historical everyday garments in alternation. Within this successive process, our individual artistic positions overlap, intersect and enter into dialogue with one another.
We understand the domestic apron as an object of transformation. It functions as a symbol of care work, of maintenance, repetition and repair forms of labour that are often rendered invisible within society.

Within the collaboration, our roles are clearly defined: Tamara Trölsch works with embroidery, while Katja Martin employs silkscreen printing. We conceive this interplay as a deliberate, playful and conceptual act in which materiality, authorship and meaning are continuously renegotiated.
