Short Artist Biography
Ana Manyari is a Peruvian-born artist based in Dresden, Germany. Her artistic practice focuses primarily on watercolor, alongside a strong passion for expressive caricature drawing.
Her work explores the profound connection between humans and nature, as well as the emotional complexity of human experience. Through simplified figures, fragmented silhouettes, and open pictorial spaces, she captures the essence of human relationships and inner emotional states. By deliberately omitting details, her work invites personal interpretation, empathy, and reflection. She sees art as a medium for exchange and contemplation, making inner feelings visible through color, form, and spontaneity.
Following her participation in the Neustadt Art Festival in Dresden in 2024, she was invited to exhibit in the group exhibition Good Feelings at Galerie Spazio 57 in Naples, Italy, in July 2026. In October 2026, she participated in HEIMAT, an international group exhibition in Vienna, Austria, exploring themes of home, belonging, and identity.
Her artistic practice continues to evolve through international exhibition opportunities, experimentation with watercolor, and an ongoing exploration of the emotional dimensions of human connection
