Mark Kenneth Bambico (b. 1979) is a Quezon City–based artist, animator, and musician. For over 27 years, he has worked in the commercial animation industry, developing stories and characters for international productions while pursuing painting as a deeply personal creative practice. His paintings explore memory, identity, relationships, and everyday human experience through expressive abstraction, instinctive color, and layered imagery. While his professional animation career has largely been shaped by collaborative studio work, his personal art has become a space to develop an independent visual language rooted in emotion and observation. Moving Grounds marks a new direction in Bambico's practice— bringing together his painterly approach and decades of animation experience to create moving images that are distinctly his own. His paintings have been exhibited in group exhibitions, including a Women's Month exhibition in 2022, and in 2023 he presented an online solo exhibition inspired by musicians and performers.
