Parinaissa is a self-taught artist with a background in architecture and a longstanding connection to art, beginning in childhood. Her artistic journey has moved through watercolour, sketching, and oil painting, returning to oil painting in recent years as a way to explore her relationship with colour and the natural world. Drawn to flowers, landscapes, and the ever-changing colours of nature, Parinaz approaches painting intuitively, embracing expressive brushwork and the freedom to move beyond realistic representation. For her, nature is never static: it transforms with the wind, the changing seasons, and the shifting light. Rather than reproducing every detail, she seeks to capture its movement, energy, and fleeting impressions through colour, texture, and form. Her work reflects a belief that painting nature is not about reproducing what the eye sees, but expressing the experience of seeing it.
