Descrizione: EXTRAPOLATED WORLD (Limited Edition /24, individualy signed, preserves the status of the work as both conceptual object and collectible) is a circular work derived from an original and unique geometric bas-relief sculpture, conceived as a visual model of perceptual extrapolation.

Through the use of acrylic glass print and a perfectly defined round format, the work constructs a self-contained visual system in which fragmented elements and structured geometries suggest an expanded, unstable perception of reality. The circular form reinforces the idea of continuity without origin or endpoint, evoking a world in constant cognitive extension.
Italian art criticism in Rome has allegorically described Eli MARS’ artistic approach, as contributing to the projection of “La Prospettiva del Mondo” (The Perspective of the World), positioning the work as a visual and philosophical reflection on perception and relativity.

Concept & Vision:
EXTRAPOLATED WORLD belongs to the artist’s “Relative Position” series.
The work takes the form of a cardinal disk, in which a formally square filigree chessboard of 64 cells is extrapolated toward a perfect circle.
The mathematically calculated displacement of magenta and lemon-green colored pixels is deliberately interrupted just before completion, creating a gap between two positions, namely the geometric form perceived by the observer as a result, and the pure, absolute symbolic form of the circle.
This suspended transition introduces a new spatial and conceptual dimension, interpreted by critics as a symbol of relativity.

The work questions the position of the human being within systems of rules and societal organization, while simultaneously challenging the limits of systematization, determinism, and absolute structures.
The peripheral circular ring, integrating the cardinal axes, embodies the notion of certainty and perfection, standing in tension with the relative central extrapolated area, revealing an interstitial light yellow form
