Descrizione: The MEMORY object from the MEMORY 2 collection is a textile that connects the present with the past. In its contemporary form, mounted on a frame, it serves as a decorative textile. It was woven on traditional 8-shaft horizontal handlooms using a technique rooted in the weaving heritage of the Podlasie region—radziuszka, an overshot/intertwined fabric featuring a hand-picked central element. Once a rag and a mere wiping cloth, today it is a decorative textile embedded with coded memory. It levitates in space and time.
