Descrizione: the first sunrise draws from ancient Central Asian rock and cave imagery associated with Tengri, the deity of the Eternal Blue Sky. Reinterpreting these ancient forms through etching, the work explores the sun as a sacred symbol and traces a connection between contemporary image-making, ancestral memory, and the ancient spiritual traditions of Central Asia.
