An ongoing artistic project that reimagines the Major Arcana through the myths, folklore and collective memory of the Dominican Republic. El Bacá transforms a folkloric spirit into a contemporary tarot archetype. The figure embodies the seductive nature of power and material wealth while questioning the hidden costs of desire. Through layered symbolism, the work connects Caribbean mythology with the universal visual language of the tarot.
