One in a Million II. focuses on a single leaf—the individual within the collective. Weathered, scarred and pierced by time, it bears the marks of vulnerability and experience. Its delicate, lace-like structure speaks of loss, yet it has not collapsed. What remains is surprisingly resilient.

The leaf becomes a portrait of a life that has endured hardship without losing its essential identity. Fragility and strength coexist: the damage makes its structure visible rather than destroying it. The work reflects on the resilience of the individual and the quiet determination to remain whole despite life’s wounds.

Separated from the tree, the leaf may appear isolated, but it still carries the memory of the larger organism to which it once belonged. Like every human being, it is unique—one life among millions—yet irreplaceable.
