I was born in Barcelona in 1974 where I studied painting and illustration at the
\nMassana and Llotja schools respectively. Years later I traveled to Basel with the
\ncommission to carry out the murals and trompe l’oeil for the entire interior of the
\nDrachen hotel. After four months in the Swiss city, I settled in Paris where I lived
\nfor three and a half years. There I made contact with the world of Parisian art and
\nfurther developed my personal work. I returned to Barcelona where I stayed for
\neight years until in 2012 I traveled and settled in Berlin where I currently live and
\nwhere in 2016 I finished and presented the film “Auf dem Weg”. In 2019, the
\nFrench government commissioned me to carry out the frescoes for the church
\n“L’Annunciata” by Pianottoli in Corsica, France, where I painted its 31 m2 in the
\n21st century.
\nDuring my artistic career I have exhibited in different cities around the world, as
\nwell as made artistic works of various kinds.
\nMy work explores the notion of the human being. Through my portraits or through
\nmy figures, I deal with the subject of the human being, working from realism to
\nsuggestive decompositions and representations. I represent men and women,
\ntogether or separately with an unlimited knowledge of the documentation of the
\nhuman. I show them both with a look that goes from the depth, essential and
\nintimate of the individual to a broader perspective of the human race. My portraits
\nshow that my passion for painting revolves around, not only my interest in the
\nhuman figure, but more specifically the individual. My pictorial construction is in
