Descrizione : In this powerful and visceral composition, I pay a second tribute to my late mother, a Leo woman \u2014 a symbol of strength, courage, and determination. The canvas depicts a lion in full roar, with its mouth wide open and golden mane in motion, radiating energy and presence. In front of him, a woman with loose hair tilts her head back, her mouth half-open in a gesture of pain or song \u2014 as if both the lion and the woman shared the same cry.
\nThe black background intensifies the contrast and immerses the viewer in a space of mourning and transcendence. The lion’s roar represents ancestral strength, the bravery that remains even after departure. The woman’s cry embodies the pain of absence, but also the resilience of those who continue to live, guided by memory and love.
\nThe work is a dialogue between loss and power, between silence and expression.
