Created with graphite pencil and enhanced with pastels, the drawing is structured as a fragmented composition where face and textile engage in a subtle interplay of transparency.
\nOn the left, a partially revealed female face establishes a silent, suspended presence.
\nOn the right, the material takes on its full importance. The fabric, evoking velvet, create a sense of movement and sensuality. A delicately sketched hand forms a link between the body and the material, reinforcing the idea of both physical and emotional contact.
\nThe whole composition is structured through layers that blur the boundaries between elements. The gaze seems to pass through these layers, while the fabric extends and absorbs the emotion of the face.
