SOLITUDE explores the private self that emerges when the noise of the day recedes. Blue becomes the emotional and spatial language of the work: carrying the depth of water, the openness of the sky, melancholy, calm and inward reflection. It is not simply a background, but a psychological atmosphere that holds the figure between restlessness and stillness.
\nThe figure has withdrawn inward after a long day, carrying worries, memories, expectations and relationships that continue to occupy the mind after the outside world has quietened. The watchful eyes suggest the persistent presence of the world around us, while the emerging inner self reflects a search for calm, clarity and acceptance.<\/p>\n

Branching red threads move through the composition, connecting thoughts of the past, present and future with the invisible ties that bind us to family and loved ones. Influenced by Indian traditions, the red thread also evokes protection, care and the inherited bonds that continue to shape us even in solitude. Lotus leaves offer a temporary place of rest, while water and clouds reflect the changing nature of emotion and the understanding that no feeling remains permanent.<\/p>\n

The work developed slowly over two months through doubt, abandonment, reflection and return, without beginning from a fixed image. Its making mirrored its subject: a gradual movement from mental noise towards quiet.
