My work revolves around the theme of traces of life\u2014what a person leaves behind that cannot be fully expressed in words. I use characters I have developed myself that are reminiscent of language but elude clear legibility. They exist on the threshold between writing, symbols, and form.<\/p>\n
The embossed symbols appear like inscribed memories. Their lack of legibility opens up space for personal associations. The focus is not on the content of a message, but on the experience of searching and interpreting.<\/p>\n
A single gilded symbol breaks through the understated composition and intensifies the idea of the extraordinary\u2014that moment which gives direction to a life.
\nMy works invite viewers to reflect on the traces of their own lives: What symbols are inscribed in our lives? What remains visible, what disappears, and what experiences shape our identity even though they defy language?<\/p>\n
