L’arte incontra il cibo, e il cibo si trasforma in linguaggio visivo, simbolico e culturale. “Art in Food” è una call internazionale rivolta ad artisti contemporanei che desiderano esplorare le molteplici connessioni tra nutrimento, estetica e identità.
Il cibo non è soltanto materia di consumo quotidiano, ma anche memoria, rito, desiderio e relazione. Attraverso questa call invitiamo gli artisti a riflettere su come il cibo possa diventare immagine, metafora e strumento di narrazione, capace di attraversare confini geografici, culturali e sociali. Dal gesto del preparare al momento del condividere, fino alle dinamiche del consumo globale e della sostenibilità, ogni opera può aprire nuove prospettive di lettura sul nostro rapporto con ciò che ci nutre.
La call si propone di creare un dialogo tra artisti e pubblico, stimolando una riflessione critica e sensibile su uno degli elementi più universali e allo stesso tempo più intimi dell’esperienza umana: il cibo.
Art meets food, and food transforms into visual, symbolic, and cultural language. “Art in Food” is an international open call for contemporary artists who wish to explore the many connections between nourishment, aesthetics, and identity.
Food is not only a matter of daily consumption, but also memory, ritual, desire, and relationship. Through this call, we invite artists to reflect on how food can become image, metaphor, and a narrative tool, capable of crossing geographical, cultural, and social boundaries. From the act of preparing to the moment of sharing, and extending to the dynamics of global consumption and sustainability, each artwork can open new perspectives on our relationship with what nourishes us.
The call aims to create a dialogue between artists and the public, encouraging a critical and sensitive reflection on one of the most universal and at the same time most intimate elements of human experience: food.
Chi può partecipare?
La Call è aperta a tutti gli artisti, senza limiti di tecnica, per opere che interpretano liberamente il tema. Ogni artista potrà partecipare con un massimo di tre opere.
Come partecipare
Invia la tua candidatura compilando il form che segue entro il 5 luglio 2026.
Non dimenticare di includere:
- Una breve biografia (max 300 parole)
- Le immagini delle opere proposte (in bassa risoluzione; le immagini in alta risoluzione saranno richieste solo in caso di selezione)
- La descrizione di ciascuna opera
La fee di partecipazione è di 59 euro per 2 opere oppure 79 euro per 3 opere.
La quota sarà da versare solo in caso di selezione.
Modalità di partecipazione
Attenzione: nel form dovrai specificare con quale modalità desideri partecipare tra le seguenti:

Opere originali – Partecipazione con opere originali. L’artista spedisce le opere autonomamente o tramite il nostro servizio convenzionato con Mail Boxes Etc.

Repliche stampate formato 30×40 circa – L’artista ci invia il file digitale e noi ci occupiamo della stampa. In questo caso è previsto un plus di 19 euro per opera.

Repliche stampate formato 40×60 circa – L’artista ci invia il file digitale e noi ci occupiamo della stampa. In questo caso è previsto un plus di 29 euro per opera.
Esposizione
Le opere selezionate saranno esposte dal 4 al 9 settembre 2026 presso Con/Temporary Spaces a Torino, nel cuore della città. Sarà un’occasione perfetta per mettere in risalto la tua arte e raggiungere un pubblico appassionato e attento.
Who can participate?
The Call is open to all artists, with no technical restrictions, for works that freely interpret the theme. Each artist may submit up to three works.

Don’t forget to include:
- A brief biography (max 300 words)
- Images of the proposed works (low resolution; high-resolution images will be requested only if selected)
- A description of each work
The participation fee is €59 for 2 works or €79 for 3 works.

Participation options

Exhibition
The selected works will be exhibited from September 4 to 9, 26 at Con/Temporary Spaces in Turin, in the heart of the city. This will be a perfect opportunity to showcase your art and reach an engaged and attentive audience.
