Descrizione:  Shot in black and white with a handycam, Blending in documents a performance in which the artist covers their body with papier-mâché made from newspapers and vinyl glue. The raw, grainy aesthetic evokes the post-industrial atmosphere of films such as Eraserhead, creating a sense of alienation and unease. The act of layering the body with fragments of mass media symbolizes society clothing itself in its own narratives, ideologies, and mechanisms of control. Rather than depicting a passive nihilism that helplessly submits to consumption, the performance stages an active nihilism: a conscious and deliberate surrender to the forces of society, embracing self-devouring as an act of participation, exposure, and critique. The body becomes both agent and victim, actively offering itself to be absorbed by the very structures that shape it.
