Descrizione: Eternal Life》draws inspiration from the “reverse aging” ability of the Turritopsis dohrnii (immortal jellyfish), exploring the fluidity and cyclical nature of life and consciousness. Though boneless and brainless, drifting with the currents, it can revert to a juvenile state to reborn，in the end dissolving into the sea upon death—echoing the Eastern philosophy of “life and death as intertwined cycles,” a form of immortality itself. The painting depicts a curled human figure entwined with the jellyfish, symbolizing post-trauma healing, identity transformation, and spiritual metamorphosis. Ink permeates the Xuan paper, mimicking the liquid existence of life and hinting at the individual’s eventual return to the environment.My work contemplates: When flesh perishes and entropic dissolution of form，can the spirit, like the jellyfish, through drifting and transformation, merge into the vast “sea of existence”，into the cosmic “sea of oneness”?
