The work explores transformation as a passage from one form of existence into another. Flesh appears to disintegrate, losing its original structure and becoming matter, landscape, and something yet unnamed. Evoking the myth of Herodias, the work inhabits a liminal space between death, dissolution and metamorphosis, where decay becomes the threshold of another form.
