Ho pensato a “felice”, “sano di mente”, “amichevole” (“Great” e “Healthy” pare siano già protetti da copyright), ma qualsiasi aggettivo vi piaccia andrà bene…

Come molti Europei sconcertati, ho osservato – dalla mia parte dell’Oceano – gli eventi che si sono susseguiti in modo impensabile e stordente negli ultimi due anni. Non sono abituata a tenere le mani in tasca – e avevo bisogno di un piccolo pezzo per esercitarmi con le tecniche di quilting – quindi ho usato fiori, colori e onde musicali, come se fossero parole, per creare questo messaggio per tutti i miei amici americani sani di mente e di buona volontà.

As most bewildered Europeans, I have been watching – from this side of the ocean – things unfold in an unthinkable and weird manner.

I’m not used to keep my hands in my pockets – and I needed a small piece to practice quilting techniques – so I used flowers, colours and music waves, as if they were words to create this message for all my American friends in this community.
