Descrizione: A figure is bound to iron bars, its body straining as if pushed to the edge of fracture. Opposite, another sits motionless, watching. The distorted smile does not console, it records, judges, perhaps even believes itself justified. The violent orange background burns like a perpetual alarm, while drips cut through the bodies like scars that refuse to close. The painting stages a confrontation: aggressor and assaulted, executioner and victim. Yet the roles feel unstable. The distance between them is charged, uncertain – as if cruelty were not only enacted, but inherited.
